The best burger in Murray Hill

Murray Hill locals don’t have to travel far to find one of the best burgers in New York City. Jackson Hole Burgers – in Manhattan, not Wyoming – is among my favorite hamburger destinations, with a wide variety of monster burgers that will require you to stretch your jaw to consume (and it’s worth the effort).

🍔 Burgers at reasonable prices. There are five different burger types starting at $15.25. You’ll probably spend $20 once you’re done with either the build-you-own burger customizations or the 24 burger configurations on the menu.

🍅 Plenty of fixings. My favorite is Jackson Hole’s $20 Mexican burger. It’s topped with cheddar cheese, jalapeno peppers, and chili, and smothered in pico de gallo – you won’t need ketchup with these toppings. it’s more mouth-watering than spicy, with large chunks of fixings to go with the 7oz beef.

🍟 Fries of all shapes and sides. NYC restaurants have either waffle fries or curly fries – never both. Well, Jackson Hole is the exception to this rule. It has Steak Fries, Curly Fries, Waffle Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and, just so no one feels left out, Onion Rings.

🤤 Fully loaded. If you’re feeling hungry, Fully Loaded Waffle Fries combine Mozzarella & Cheddar Fries with bacon, chives, Avacado Salsa and Pico de Gallo.

🥔 Don’t miss the menu’s appetizers. Jackson Hole serves classic potato skins topped with melted cheddar, chopped bacon, scallion onions, and sour cream with a sprinkle of parsley. They come in two per order.

🎵 Jukebox hero. Some of the tables along the perimeter of the restaurant have a Jukebox for playing the classics over the restaurant speakers. The list of songs matches the laid-back Wyoming vibe. It’s never too crowded here, meaning it’s easy to get a table with a Juke Box and control the playlist.
